Our HART program exists to help our unhoused neighbors move toward self-sufficiency and greater independence. We rely on community volunteers to hold weekly outreach activities to our unhoused neighbors. Programs include our weekly freshen up shower program, youth outreach to teens experiencing homelessness, mid week meals with community healthcare workers providing support and guidance in taking the next steps with resources and referrals. At HART, we believe that compassion leads to progress. We invite you to join us as we support a vulnerable population in Fair Oaks and Orangevale and address one of our community's biggest challenges.

In 2024 the OVFO Food Bank served over 40,000 people through our healthy food distributions that happen four times per week. We strive to make a positive impact in the communities of Orangevale and Fair Oaks by providing food, resources, and hope to people in need. The need for help in finding food continues to rise. With your support we can continue to ensure that all children, seniors and families in our community do not suffer from food insecurity.

The Food Bank Farm depends on volunteers and donors to grow thousands of pounds of organic produce for our community and our neighbors in need. Finding access to fresh, healthy vegetables isn’t easy for many struggling families due to rising costs. With your support in helping to “Grow A Row”, the Food Bank Farm can continue to grow healthy food for local families in need.

Each summer we invite local teachers to a very special day where we treat them to lunch and a classroom supplies shopping spree! We believe that supporting teachers with the tools they need will benefit every child in our community. When teachers feel appreciated they are more likely to build a positive atmosphere in their classrooms which in turn builds more confident and engaged students. Together with your support we can treat even more teachers this year and continue to create healthy classrooms and help to build confidence in our future.
